My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Italy and our stay at your wonderful hotel. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, friendly and helpful. The hotel was a wonderful location and we enjoyed our daily exercise walk down to the town itself. We loved the breakfasts too! The views from here are amazing and thank you for kindly upgrading our room, it made our stay very special and the view from our balcony will remain with us for a long time. Keep up the wonderful work and we will certainly recommend you. Thank you all once again.

My wife and I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all management and staff for a wonderful week last week staying at your stunning hotel.
This was our first visit to Sorrento and the Grand Hotel Aminta, we are already planning our next visit for next year and will certainly be booking the Aminta.
We would like to say thanks also for the kind upgrade you gave to us, due to a request from our daughter who booked the week, as it was our Wedding anniversary and this was a very kind gesture that was much appreciated.
All staff at the Aminta were friendly, kind and helpful from the minute we stepped into your hotel until the minute we left for home.
The room ( 301 ) was spotless and well equipped, the food was excellent and the service impeccable, it must be a pleasure to work at the Aminta.

We have just come back from a short break from this hotel, our first impression was the hotel is very clean and very well kept, presented and furnished. After going past a few of the hotels on the way in it was a relief to find the hotel is tucked away from the busy parts of sorrento but is still only a 5 min drive in the free shuttle bus the aminta supplies. In my opinion the views are litteraly breathtaking overlooking sorrento, naples and mt vesuvious and are the best views you can get. The food is excellent (expecially the bruschetta!), the house wine is excellent and the staff all speak good english and present in a very smart proffesional manner. The room was lovely, jacuzzi bath, shower en suite with a very large king size bed cannot complain. Will definitely be returning in the future. We would just like to thank the staff for making us feel so welcome and helping to make our stay an enjoyable experience.

My family spent a week at the Aminta in 2008 and we still talk about how fantastic the place is! I often come back to this website to view the live webcams and dream of returning one day! Favourite hotel I've stayed anywhere in the world...

We’ve just returned from the most beautiful Italian vacation. Friends recommended us to stay in Grant Hotel Aminta in Sorrento and it was an excellent choice. Our room on the 3rd floor with a balcony provided an unforgettable view of the sunset over Capri. From the very friendly and attentive admin staff, to smiley restaurant waiters, fresh crispy bed sheets and clean rooms, amazing buffet breakfast – all was outstanding. Antonio and Francesco in the bar were very creative with the drinks (“Sex by Aminta pool”) and very generous with the warm Italian smiles. Special thanks to the owner – Gianluigi – for being a wonderful host and creating this paradise. We’ll recommend Aminta for anyone travelling to Sorrento. Thank you! Spasibo! Grazie! The room which I was worried about because it had no balcony was in fact perfect...
So thank you so much .
We we very impressed with the staff and cant pick out one as outstanding because they were all so friendly and helpful
and so well experienced in the individual fields that they worked.
The room maid was so polite and efficient.
The bar staff were excellent.
The restaurant staff including the chef were always freindly and helpful and also so efficient!!!
It made our holiday perfect so thank you very much to you all.

My friend and I have just returned from a wonderful week’s holiday at The Grande Hotel Aminta. Without doubt one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Excellent value for money in every respect. We really must congratulate you on all your wonderful staff – and particularly the restaurant and reception staff. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for any of them and always with a smile. Just returned from my stay at Aminta (in the annex) and have nothing but praise for the hotel and it's staff. Loveley location, very useful shuttle bus and delicious cocktails. Missing the view and the sunshine already. Would highly reccomend this hotel.

We have just returned from one of the best holidays we have ever had, all thanks to the wonderful staff at the Aminta, The reception staff went out of their way, nothing was too much trouble, but all the staff were great. I have never been to such a clean hotel in europe, it was immaculate. We will be coming back again as soon as we can. Thanks again for making our holiday so special.

Our honeymoon vow in 2001 to return to the Hotel Aminta on our 10th anniversary was fulfilled on 25th/26th August 2011 and we were not disappointed. Treated like royalty from the beginning, nothing too much bother and the care and consideration of the staff (some of whom we recognise 10 years on) was exceptional. Our room upgrade on arrival was an unexpected delight and although we ony spent 1 night at the hotel this time around, everything from the food to the service was outstanding. We simply cannot recommend this hotel highly enough to anyone visiting the Amalfi region.

Surely the most beautiful Reception team in all of Sorrento ?
I'm just writing to thank you so much for the wonderful help you all gave me before and during last weeks stay with you.
All arrangements for Elisabeth and I had to be made by me because we didn't use a holiday or booking company here in the UK.
Your help made everything run smoothly........our taxi transfer with Luca [at 4.30am] ensured we were at Capodichino about 15 minutes after we left you !
Yet again we had a superb holiday so it seems appropriate to say that the Aminta and I both had a magnificent 50th birthday.
Special thanks to you all once again [no Genaro I haven't forgotten you - you're just not quite as beautiful as the girls!!!] - the hotel's excellent reputation is in safe hands.

Hi, We stayed with you a couple of weeks ago and I just wanted too thank you for such a lovely stay. Your staff were exceptional, and went out of their way to be helpful. I am so embarrassed I did not get her name, but the lady with the short brown hair on reception was fantastic and helped us with so many queries from organising a bus to Rome, to printing out our airline tickets. Your hotel is so lovely I hope we can stay there again soon!

Dear Signor Acampora We have recently returned from Sorrento after our second wonderful holiday at your beautiful hotel and I would like to thank you and all your staff for making our stay so special. From our arrival we felt like old friends and were greeted in our room with a beautiful floral display and a bottle of wine on ice! We once more found the staff to be very friendly and highly professional with nothing being too much trouble. The hotel is very clean and has a relaxing ambience which I would again thank the staff for making it so. The food was lovely with a good choice each day and the restaurant staff always charmimg. I was taken by surprise when Signor Michel presented me with a birthday cake and yet more wine after dinner one evening. Our daughter is eagerly looking forward to her first stay at your hotel, arriving on 19/08/11 and I am sure she will fall in love with the hotel and Sorrento as we did. The views from the terrace are breathtaking and will forever be in our hearts. Please excuse my Italian when I say; Non addio ma arrivederci. Noi amiamo l'Aminta e Sorrento e ritorno un giorno. Dear Gianfranco and all the wonderful staff at the Aminta! Where do I start – I think by saying a huge thank you!! Thank you to you personally, Gianfranco, for all your help in organising our stay for our wedding recently. Thank you for putting us is the Suite, it was beautiful and the flowers you put in the room were gorgeous! Thank you to the reception staff for everything – nothing was too much trouble and any questions were answered and dealt with immediately. Their help with our group extrusion to Amalfi was very much appreciated and took the organising out of our hands which was fantastic. The bar staff, Tony & Francesco in particular, a special thank you to them for dealing with 24 guests at once! They were brilliant night after night. They are very friendly and welcoming yet so professional. The restaurant staff for seating our guests together every morning, the lunch staff for fantastic lunches – the pasta, pizzas and salads we had for lunch were honestly some of the best food we have eaten in Italy! and of course the wonderful pool staff for keeping the pool and pool area so clean and tidy. Everyone without exception at the Aminta is fantastic and an absolute credit to you and your hotel. As you know this was our 5th visit in 6 years – the hotel just gets better and better! We have never returned to the same holiday destination before let alone the same hotel until we visited the Aminta in 2005. It’s fair to say we completely fell in love with the place. The hotel is in the best position in Sorrento in my opinion– far enough out of the town to not be too busy and noisy but close enough to reach on the courtesy shuttle bus in just a few minutes. The panoramic views are spectacular; we never get tired of sitting on our balcony and just looking at the amazing views! The hotel is always so clean, immaculate in fact. The staff are, as I’ve mentioned, fantastic – and the fact they are still there since our first visit 6 years ago shows what a lovely working environment you have and this shows in their service to customers. Our guests were amazed by the service, cleanliness and views at the hotel and I think you will see some of their faces again in the future!
